Exciting Opportunity to join a Privately held growing Manufacturing business!!!

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Controller to oversee financial operations across multiple entities and locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, require minimal supervision, and demonstrate the ability to create structure within our finance team. This role involves managing all aspects of finance, including financial accounting close and reporting, treasury functions, cost accounting, inventory management, and utilizing Business Central ERP systems effectively. The Controller will be instrumental in driving financial excellence and operational efficiency within our organization.

About the Role

The Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial operations across multiple entities and locations.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Management and Reporting:
  • Oversee and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process for multiple entities.
  • Conduct the yearly external audit.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
  • Treasury and Cash Flow Management:
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and treasury operations.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of company funds and monitor financial health across entities.
  • Cost Accounting and Manufacturing Support:
  • Implement and manage cost accounting processes to support manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to monitor and optimize inventory levels and costs.
  • Provide analysis and insights to support decision-making in manufacturing and inventory management.
  • ERP System Expertise:
  • Utilize Business Central ERP system to streamline financial processes and reporting.
  • Collaborate with IT and operations teams to optimize system functionality and data accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with experience managing multiple entities.
  • Proven expertise in cost accounting, manufacturing operations, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency with Business Central ERP system is required.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead a team.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
